The Aga Khan Rural Support Programme established in 1982 by the Aga Khan Foundation, is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life in Gilgit-Baltistan and Chitral. AKRSP works through grassroots organizations, capacity building, and partnerships to promote sustainable development, enhance incomes, and strengthen local governance.

The Aga Khan Rural Support Programme (AKRSP) invites sealed bids for the SUPPLY, INSTALLATION, COMMISSIONING AND TEST RUNNING of four turbine-generator units for the Hydropower Projects in Chitral KPK and Baltistan region in Gilgit Baltistan.
- 202 KW BREP Project – Yarkhoon Valley, Upper Chitral
- 230 KW DIZG Project – Yarkhoon Valley, Upper Chitral
- 200 KW Chowar Khaplu Project – Siska Valley, Khaplu, Baltistan
- 150 KW Hangu Project – Mendi Valley, Rondu, Baltistan
Bids, accompanied by a 2% bid security and a Rs. 5,000 fee, must be delivered to the AKRSP Head Office in Gilgit or submitted via email by December 8, 2025, at 17:00 hours. The bid opening will be on December 10, 2025, at 15:30 hours. Detailed bidding documents can be downloaded from the AKRSP website.
