Aga Khan Rural Support Programme (AKRSP) invites sealed quotations from eligible, qualified, and experienced suppliers/firms for the following assignment:
Supply & Transportation of Bridge Materials Shuist Yarkhoon Valley, Upper Chitral

Scope of Work
The scope covers the supply, packing, loading, transportation, unloading, and delivery of bridge materials, including:
- Steel Wire Ropes (various diameters)
- Structural Steel Sections (I-Section, H-Section, C-Section)
- MS Checkered Sheets & Plates
- Nut Bolts, U-Bolts, Clamps, Bulldog Grips, Thimbles, and other bridge-related materials.
All materials must be brand new, unused, and strictly in accordance with the specifications in the RFQ.
Bid Security
A Bid Security equivalent to 2.5% of the total bid value must be submitted with the quotation in the form of a Bank Guarantee, Call Deposit Receipt (CDR), Pay Order, Demand Draft, or Banker’s Cheque, payable in favor of Aga Khan Rural Support Programme (AKRSP) .
Payment Terms
- 75% upon delivery to Chitral (subject to inspection).
- 25% upon final delivery to Shuist Yarkhoon Valley, Upper Chitral.
- No advance payment. Taxes will be deducted at source as per prevailing laws.

Quotations received after the deadline will not be opened.
Important Notes
- All quoted rates must be inclusive of all applicable taxes, duties, transportation, loading/unloading, and incidental costs.
- AKRSP reserves the right to accept or reject any or all quotations without assigning a reason.

BID EVALUATION AND AWARD
- Responsiveness Review
- AKRSP shall review all quotations to determine whether they are substantially responsive to the requirements of this RFQ. A substantially responsive quotation is one that:
- Is submitted on time;
- Is duly signed and stamped by the bidder;
- Includes the required Bid Security;
- Fully complies with the specifications, quantities, delivery requirements, and other conditions stated in this RFQ;
- Does not contain material deviations, reservations, or unauthorized conditions; and
- Includes all documents and information requested under this RFQ.
- AKRSP reserves the right to seek clarification or additional information from bidders where necessary. However, no change in the quoted prices shall be permitted after submission of the quotation.
- Financial Evaluation and Award
- Only quotations determined to be substantially responsive to the requirements of this RFQ shall be considered for financial evaluation.
- The contract shall be awarded to the lowest priced responsive bidder, whose quotation meets the specifications, quantities, delivery requirements, and all other terms and conditions of this RFQ.
- AKRSP reserves the right to verify any information submitted by bidders and to reject any quotation found to contain false, misleading, or incomplete information.
