Requirements: 

 

  • Education: A Master’s degree, preferably in educational leadership, ECD,  teacher education, school improvement, or educational/ECD  evaluation from a reputable and recognized institute.

 

  • Required Experience: A proven record of a minimum of three years (less for exceptional candidates) in education/ECD in primary to secondary education; with knowledge of government sector education and ECD field, preferably in Pakistan.

 

  • Skills:Senior Field Education Officer will have proven leadership and management skills. The Aga Khan Rural Support Programme (AKRSP), under its BEST4WEER project, is pleased to announce the START Enterprise training and Pre-startup programme for new and existing potential micro-entrepreneurs in the Chitral region for 2023. The programme is open to young women and men from District Upper and Lower Chitral.

 

Eligibility Criteria (WHO CAN JOIN):

  • Young women and men between the age of 18 to 40 years.
  • Young women and men with at least a Matriculation degree.
  • Young and inspiring entrepreneurs with new potential business ideas.
  • Participants who are currently unemployed and opt to continue their career in business.
  • Participants must have CNIC and be domiciled in the Chitral District.
  • Only viable business ideas (existing & new) will be shortlisted for the programme.
  • After completing the 01-day Bootcamp session, only successful or qualified business ideas will be selected for 03-days Enterprise Advisory Training and Pitch making.

 

Training Program Outline:

  • 01-Day Bootcamp Session (Business Ideation and Team-up)

                                          Allied Health- Technologist Training -2023

          

Background:

The Aga Khan Rural Support Programme (AKRSP), under its BEST4WEER project, is pleased to announce   Trainee Technologist Training – 2023 in collaboration with the Aga Khan University, Hospital, Karachi for the graduates belonging to Gilgit-Baltistan and Chitral.

Program Overview:

The Technologist Training Programme is designed to provide comprehensive training in various disciplines of clinical laboratory services. Under the guidance of experienced professionals, trainees will gain valuable knowledge and hands-on experience in Blood Bank, Clinical Chemistry, Hematology, Histopathology, Microbiology, and Molecular Pathology. The one-year training programme includes classroom lectures and practical training to ensure a deep understanding of these essential areas.

Requirements:

To be eligible for this programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Hold a BSc/BS degree in Medical Lab Technology, Microbiology, Physiology, Biochemistry, Genetics, Clinical Diagnostics, or a relevant discipline. Having an MSc degree will be preferred.
  • Have obtained a minimum of First Division or CGPA of 3.0 in the last two years.
  • Demonstrate willingness to work shift duties, including mornings, evenings, and nights.
  • Possess good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively independently and in teams.
  • Age between 18-35 year are eligible to apply.
  • Female graduates will be preferred.

 

Stipend and Employment Opportunities:

  • Trainees accepted into the Technologist Training Programme will receive a stipend during the training period. Upon successful completion of the one-year programme and satisfactory performance, trainees will be eligible for full-time positions at any of AKUH laboratories, subject to availability.

  7. After successful completion of training, only successful or qualified graduates will be offered employment or will be placed for an apprenticeship program (on-the-job training).
