SUBJECT: SUPPLY, TRANSPORTATION & INSTALLATION OF ALUMINUM GLASSES FOR PASSIVE SOLAR GREENHOUSE PROJECTS
The Aga Khan Rural Support Programme (AKRSP) invites sealed quotations from qualified, reputable, and experienced vendors for the Supply, Transportation, and Installation of Aluminum Glasses for Passive Solar Greenhouse Projects in Ishkoman, Ghizer.
1. SCOPE OF WORK:
The selected vendor will be responsible for the complete supply, safe transportation, and on-site installation of materials for the construction of Passive Solar Greenhouses. All work must be executed in strict accordance with AKRSP’s technical specifications, design standards, and under the supervision of the AKRSP technical team.
2. PROJECT LOCATIONS & TARGETS:
The work involves the construction of 03 Greenhouses (Size: 60’ x 15’) at the following locations:

3. KEY TERMS & CONDITIONS:
- Timeline: The complete supply, transportation, and installation must be accomplished within 45 calendar days of contract signing.
- Penalties for Delay: AKRSP reserves the right to impose penalties up to 2% of the contract value per week of delay, subject to a maximum of 10% .
- Payment Terms: Payments will be made in three installments:
- 50% upon successful delivery of materials to Gilgit City and inspection by AKRSP.
- 40% upon transportation and delivery to all project sites.
- 10% upon completion of installation and final acceptance.
- Taxes: All quoted rates must be inclusive of all applicable taxes, duties, and levies.
- Transportation & Risk: The supplier is solely responsible for all logistics, including vehicles, loading/unloading, and safe delivery. Any damage, theft, or loss during transit or execution is the vendor’s responsibility.
- Validity: Quotations must remain valid for a minimum of 30 days from the closing date.
- Compliance: Vendors must strictly adhere to AKRSP’s ethical standards, including a zero-tolerance policy for child and forced labor. Any conflict of interest must be disclosed.
4. SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:
- Quotations must be sealed and submitted on the company’s official letterhead.
- The envelope must be clearly marked with the following:
“RFQ for Supply, Transportation & Installation of Aluminum Glasses, for Passive Solar Greenhouse Projects.” - Quotations must be addressed and delivered to:

5. EVALUATION CRITERIA:
Quotations will be evaluated based on:
- Compliance with technical specifications.
- Financial competitiveness (lowest evaluated price).
- Experience and past performance with similar works.
FOR DETAILED SPECIFICATIONS & BOQ:
Interested vendors must obtain the complete RFQ document, including the detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and the mandatory Vendor Declaration form, from the AKRSP Procurement Department. All quotations must be accompanied by the signed Vendor Declaration.
AKRSP reserves the right to reject any or all quotations, cancel the process, or negotiate terms without assigning any reasons.
