The Aga Khan Rural Support Programme (AKRSP), established in 1982 by the Aga Khan Foundation, is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life in Gilgit-Baltistan and Chitral. AKRSP works through grassroots organizations, capacity building, and partnerships to promote sustainable development, enhance incomes, and strengthen local governance.
The Aga Khan Rural Support Program (AKRSP) invites sealed quotations from reputable and experienced suppliers for the supply of 30 pair of Beetal Breed(1 Male and 1 Femal) Goats under its RENEW Project for Diamer . The required goats must be of the Beetal dairy breed, clinically healthy, and disease-free. Specifications include an age of 12–18 months, a weight of 40–45 kg, and acceptable colors being golden, white, brown, or black. All animals must be fully vaccinated and dewormed, with proof required, and be in active physical condition, ready or near the milking stage.
1. Beetal Goat
Gender: Female. Age: 12–18 Months.
Type: Mainly for Milk Production
Colour: Black & White, brown or black patches.
Average weight: 40–45 KG
Breed characteristics: Body is compact, well developed and wedge shaped. Broad head,
massive and roman Nose. Long ear and thick neck, legs and long and stout well developed under and long teat.
2. Beetal Buck
Gender: Male. Age: 12–18 Months.
Colour: White Black & White, brown or black patches.
Average weight: 50–55 KG
Breed characteristics: Body is compact, well developed and wedge shaped. Broad head,
massive and roman Nose. Long ear and thick neck, legs and long and stout.
Two fully descended and symmetrical testicles with no palpable abnormalities.
Displaying normal sexual behaviour and showing interest in mating.
General Terms & Conditions for Animals

The Firm/Contractor will deliver first at specified location, where animals will undergo on quarantine for a period of 01 weeks under observation of technical committee at contractor ’s shed/space and for their delivery to all District head quarters. The contractor is responsible for all cost of fodders and taking care of animals till the delivery to the farmers in the specified location. Delivery shall be made to Diamer , Gilgit Baltistan within ten days of the Purchase Order issuance. Transportation, including loading and unloading, is the supplier’s sole responsibility. The quotation must include the unit price per goat, the all-inclusive total price, delivery time, validity period, and supporting documents such as the registered supplier profile/similar three supply experience completion certificates and proof of dealing in livestock. Only registered livestock vendors will be shortlisted for this purpose. A procurement committee will inspect the goats at delivery; any non-conforming animals will be rejected and replaced at the supplier’s cost.
“The firm/contractor will bring the animals to Diamer and will go on quarantine for a period of 01 week under observation of the technical committee, including a veterinary doctor at the contractor’s own shed/space to release health clearance of each animal to be procured.”
