SUBJECT: SUPPLY & TRANSPORTATION OF HDPE PIPES

The Aga Khan Rural Support Programme (AKRSP), a non-profit development organization working across Gilgit-Baltistan, Chitral, and Sind, invites sealed quotations from reputable, experienced, and qualified suppliers for the Supply & Transportation of HDPE Pipes for its development initiatives.

1. SCOPE OF WORK:
The selected supplier will be responsible for the supply and safe transportation of HDPE Pipes and related accessories as per the specifications and quantities outlined in the Bill of Quantities (BOQ).

3. KEY TERMS & CONDITIONS:

  • Submission Requirements: Quotations must be submitted on the company’s official letterhead with a date, signature, and stamp.
  • Timeline: Supply and transportation must be delivered within 30 days of the agreement signing.
  • Payment Terms: Payments will be made in three installments:
    • 50% after material delivery to Gilgit and inspection.
    • 40% after material delivery to the project site.
    • 10% after installation of pipes and accessories.
    • All payments will be made through cross cheque within 15 working days upon submission of invoice and verification of deliverables.
  • Taxes: Quoted prices must be inclusive of all applicable taxes, duties, and government levies.
  • Price Validity: Quoted rates should remain valid for at least one month from the last date of bid submission.
  • Transportation: Suppliers are responsible for safely transporting all materials to the project site.
  • Inspection & Rejection: Materials will undergo inspection at Gilgit or the project site. Deviations from specified specifications can lead to material rejection, with the supplier bearing replacement costs.
  • Conflict of Interest: Vendors must disclose any conflicts of interest. AKRSP maintains zero tolerance for fraud and unethical practices.
  • Cartelization: Any evidence of collusion or multiple quotations from the same entity will result in blacklisting and disqualification.
  • Subcontracting: No subcontracting is allowed without prior written consent from AKRSP.

4. EVALUATION CRITERIA:
The contract will be awarded to the bidder with the lowest bid price, provided they meet all requirements specified in the RFQ document. The evaluation process will include a thorough financial assessment of the bids.

FOR DETAILED SPECIFICATIONS & RFQ DOCUMENT:
Interested suppliers must obtain the complete RFQ document, including the detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and Vendor Receipt & Acknowledgement form, from the AKRSP Procurement Department. All quotations must be accompanied by the signed Vendor Receipt & Acknowledgement.

AKRSP reserves the right to reject any or all bids without assigning any reason and to cancel the procurement process at any stage.
