Agreed-Upon Procedures / Reasonable Assurance Engagement
The Aga Khan Rural Support Programme (AKRSP) invites Chartered Accountant / Audit Firms to submit financial quotations for conducting an Agreed-Upon Procedures (AUP) / Reasonable Assurance Engagement for the following project:
Hydropower and Renewable Energy II Project – Biodiversity Component
(KfW Reference No. BMZ 2018 67 068)
Scope of Assignment
The selected audit firm will perform a Reasonable Assurance Engagement in accordance with International Standard on Assurance Engagements (ISAE 3000) to verify the proper utilization of funds disbursed under the Disposition Fund Procedure. The assignment will include, but not be limited to:
- Review of project financial records and statements of expenditures
- Verification of fund utilization and compliance with donor requirements
- Assessment of internal controls and procurement procedures
- Issuance of an Assurance Report and Management Letter
Eligibility Criteria
Interested firms must:
- Be a registered Chartered Accountant firm with relevant professional credentials.
- Have proven experience in auditing donor-funded or development projects.
- Demonstrate familiarity with international assurance standards (ISAE 3000).
- Possess adequate technical capacity and professional staff to undertake the assignment.
Submission of Proposals
Eligible firms are requested to submit their sealed financial proposals/quotations for the above assignment.
