The University of Baltistan, in collaboration with the Aga Khan Rural Support Programme (AKRSP), organised a four-day training programme under the Career Advancement through Readiness and Employment (CARE) initiative for final-year students.

Organised under the GAC-funded BEST4WEER project, this cohort included 76 students from various departments of the University of Baltistan who were trained by faculty members that had earlier completed Training of Trainers-ToT under the CARE framework.

The programme focused on developing essential competencies such as career planning, adaptability, communication, and problem-solving, equipping participants to navigate the job market and explore opportunities in emerging sectors.

The closing ceremony was graced by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr Abdul Mateen and other university officials. In his address, Prof. Dr Mateen expressed appreciation for AKRSPโ€™s continued commitment to youth development, acknowledging the significant impact of the programme on UOB students and its tailored approach to meeting their unique needs.
